Foreign REIT ETFs

In my quest for portfolio diversification, I looked around for exchange traded funds (ETFs) that could give me some exposure to foreign real estate much like the domestic REIT ETFs like ICF.

Unfortunately, the search has been fruitless. I've yet to find such an ETF and there isn't even any publicity material of a pending offering from any of the major ETF players.

The closest thing I've found is mention of an ETF of mostly foreign real estate operating companies. That offering doesn't seem to provide the same sort of diversification since these companies aren't really the ones making the real estate plays.
